Information: Theodore DeWitt, of Ravenswood, born in Jackson county and with the exception of one year, resided within it's borders all his life.  He was strongly attached to his home and family. Mr. DeWitt was held in high esteem by his acquaintances.  He was a member of the M. E. Church, South, and of the IOOF Lodge.  His death, which occurred Monday, was due to catarrh of the stomach and liver.  He is survived by his wife and five children.  Funeral services were conducted by the Lodge Wednesday.  (McIntyre)
