Information: EVANS - Albert Ray Deweese, 75, Evans, died Dec. 28, 1996, at the Jackson General Hospital in Ripley.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Frank and Etta Rollins Deweese.  He was a retired brake inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad, a veteran of the U. S. Army in World War II, a member of VFW Post 501 of Ripley, a member of Farmer's Lodge 153 AF & AM of Newark, Ohio and a member of Newark Chapter 305 of the Order of Eastern Star.  Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Macie Stover Deweese; three daughters, Alberta Morrison of Columbus, Linda Bowling of Romulus, Mich., and Roberta Lanthorn of Columbus; two sisters, Granet Lindsay of Columbus and Louise Tillman of Lockbourne, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Connie Grinstead of Aurora, Colo.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a stepson, Wayne Custer.  Service was Monday, Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial and Masonic rites by Ripley Lodge 16 AF & AM, at Longview Cemetery, Evans.
