  <p>Information: Oda Darrell DeWees, 52, of Ripley, died Saturday at Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late William and Polina Redman DeWees.  He had worked for the Department of Highways as a truck driver.  Surviving are two sons, Rex and Bruce, both of Ripley; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Hartley of Ripley, Mrs. Kathy Casto of Staats Mill and Betsy DeWees of Ripley; five brothers, Denver, Donald and Delmer all of Kenna, Ronald of Charleston and Ova of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mrs.. Hattie Workman of Charleston, Mrs. Mabel Winter of Sissonville, Mrs. Amy Williams of Ripley and Mrs. Geneva  Good of Kenna and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday at Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with the Rev. Herman Gandee officiating.  Burial was in Stonelick Cemetery at Kenna.      	 </p>
