  <p>Information: KENNA - Edsel A. DeWees, 67, of Kenna, Jackson County, died Aug. 8, 1996, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.  He was a miner and worked as a heavy equipment operator, was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of UMW.  Surviving:  wife, Adora Janice DeWees; sons, Roger and Kevin DeWees, both of Kenna; daughters, Cherie Tinnel of Charleston, Teresa Raines of Ripley, Cheryl Barajas of Glasgow; nine grandchildren. The body has been cremated.  Memorial service will be 8 p.m. today at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Roger Tinnel and the Rev. Robert Melton officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Stonelick Cemetery Fund, c/o Basil Gandee, 2355 Fisher Ridge Road, Kenna, W. Va. 25248.</p>
