  <p>Information: Jacqueline ""Jackie"" Carroll Deem, 66, of Ravenswood, died Thursday, January 24, 2002, in Charleston.  She was born December 28, 1935 in Boone County, a daughter of Elsie Sloan Carroll and the late Phillip Carroll.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Deem Blackhurst of Sissonville; grandsons, Joe Blackhurst of Jacksonville NC and David Blackhurst of Sissonville; great-grandchild, Hannah Blackhurst of Jacksonville; brothers, James ""Bud"" Carroll of Chesapeake and Robert Carroll of Miami FL; sisters, Kay Furtado of Baltimore MD, Peggy Dolin of Charleston, Rosalie Brown of Charleston, Christine Smith of Bunnlevel NC and Phyllis Price of Boone County.  She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Clifford; and a brother, Bruce.  Services were held Monday at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.  Burial in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
