  <p>Information:        Luther Howard Asbury, 76, of Ripley, died Wednesday in Huntington Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the UMW, the American Legion and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving: wife, Odell; sons, Carl and Roy, both of Ripley, Robert and Kenneth, both of High Point, S.C., Harold of little Birch, Charles of Elkins, N.C.; daughters, Mrs. Ruth Cowan of Florida, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson of High Point, Mrs. Delvia Rhodes of    Ripley; brother, Homer of Huntington; sister, Mrs. Dessie Boggess of Ohio; 42 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Service was held Saturday in Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, the Rev. Jack Berry officiating. Entombment was in Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.       </p>
