  <p>Information: Joe Thomas Day, 94, of Ripley, formerly of Glen Fork WV, died Friday, June 11, 2004.  He was born April 17, 1910 in Ashe NC, a son of the late Thomas Jackson Day and Nannie Jane Childers Day.  Mr. Day was a member of the Russell Baptist Church in Glen Fork, a retired coal miner, and was the last survivor of this generation of Days.         Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Lunda Marie Ellison Day of Ripley; seven sons,  Delphia Elymus Day and his wife Irene of Crab Orchard WV, Joseph Delmas Day and his wife Brenda of Dry Fork VA, Tommy Lee Day and his wife Zianna of Sophia WV, Roger Carl Day and his wife Ethel of Glen Fork WV, Benny Daniel Day and his wife Judy of Glen Fork, Joe Thomas Day, Jr. and his wife Joy of Winfield WV, Teddy K. Day and his wife Lynn of Summersville WV; two daughters, Rosie Evelyn Earles and her husband, Sheridan of Moscow TN, Edna Jo Philyaw and her husband Robert of Ripley; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.         A service was held Monday, June 14, 2004, in Evans Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gill Hawks and Gene Reid officiating.  Burial followed in the Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.  His grandsons served as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be sent to Kanawha Hospice, Charleston.  Evans Funeral Hom in Oceana was serving the Day family.</p>
