Information: Funeral Services were held Tuesday at the Casto Funeral Home at Evans for Mrs. Gertrude M. Day, 75, of Miami, Florida, formerly of Evans, who died Friday in a Miami hospital following a brief illness.  She was born at Evans, the daughter of the late William and Ruth Sayre.  Survivors include her husband, Roger Day; a brother, Otmer Sayre of Columbus, Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Schnelle, of Columbus.  The Rev. Armour Sayre officiated at the service and burial was in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery at Cottageville.
