  <p>Information: Etta Marie Hughes Day, 94, of Ravenswood, died October 21, 1996 at Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood.  She was born at Flatwoods, West Virginia, Jackson County, a daughter of the late Philip S. and Margaret B. Wilson Hughes.  She was a retired teacher.  She was a graduate of Salem College, Salem, West Virginia;  taught in Mason County and Jackson County for many years.  She was a member of the Flatwoods United Methodist Church, where she was the pianist and a Sunday School Teacher and the Flatwoods Ladies Aide Society.  Surviving son, Hardwood M. Day of Sebring, Florida, one granddaughter, Sharlene Wilson of Louisiana, one grandson, Erin Scott Day of New Martinsville, West Virginia; two brothers, Wayne W. Hughes of Ravenswood and Raymond E. Hughes of Ripley; several nieces and nephews.  Services are at 11 a.m., October 24, 1996 at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, with the Rev. Rodney L. McColligan officiating.  Visitation is Wednesday, October 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood.  Burial will be in Flatwoods Cemetery.       </p>
