Information:   Holly Otho Dawkins, 85, of Sod, Lincoln County, died last Thursday in a South Charleston Hospital, after a long illness.  The deceased was a brother of Lawrence Dawkins of Sandyville.  The Rev. Allen Skeens officiated and burial was in Independence Cemetery.  Funeral services were held Saturday at the Independence United Methodist Church, Sandyville.  Born at Sandyville, he was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church at Sandyville.  Survivors include one son, Jesse Woodrow Dawkins of Barberton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Eulalia Puckett of Ambridge, Pa., Mrs. Thelma Bonto of Buckhannon and Mrs. Maxine Tabor of Yawkey.  Another brother, Collin of Mineral Wells; one sister, Mrs. Ottie Davis of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Curry Funeral Home at Alum Creek was in charge of the arrangements.  Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
