  <p>Information: Mrs. Gertrude Dawkins, widow of the late Clyde Dawkins, died in a McKeesport, Pa., hospital after a short illness.  She had made her home with her daughters, Mrs. Wilma Anderson of McKeesport, and Mrs. Mildred Roose of Pittsburgh.  Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester B. and Virginia Gorrell Custer.  She had lived most of her life in the Sandyville area.  Survivors include her two daughters and one son, Paul, three brothers and one sister.  A memorial service was held at the W.O. Hunter Funeral Home in McKeesport.  The body was then taken to Sandyville for funeral services in the Independence United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Ulysses Rhea officiated and burial was in Independence Cemetery. </p>
