  <p>Information:                 Funeral services for Arthur Dempsey Dawkins, 88 year old retired farmer of Sandyville, were held from the Meadowdale Church Friday afternoon with Rev. A. S. Kelly officiating and the body was taken to Washington, DC on Saturday for burial.  Mr. Dawkins died at his home on Tuesday following an illness of some length.  He was a son of Thomas and Florella Hawkins Dawkins and was born at Meadowdale on Feb. 12, 1860.  He was married to Susan V. Lattimer, who survives.  In addition to the widow, he is survived by four daughters, Elva L. Dawkins at home, Mrs. Ruth D. Morse and Mrs. Nola Frazer, both of Washington, DC, and Mrs. Nettie B. Muller of Philadelphia; two brothers, B. L. Dawkins of Missouri and J. H. Dawkins of Sandyville, WV, and one grandchild, Oleta Muller, who is a student at Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obituary collection)</p>
