Information: Died at her home, Meadow Dale, Jackson county, W. Va., November 25, 1895, Mrs. Ada P. Dawkins, aged 34 years.  The subject of this sketch is the ""Baby Sister"" of the writer, and was one of those dear good sisters, from whom we would not, if we could, withhold our love.  Her illness was of short duration, being on the day before her death in her usual good health and spirits. How true it is that ""in the midst of life we are in death."" and that ""we know not the day or the hour when the Master shall call us hence"".  The dealings of God with his creatures are often unaccountable to us. We are naturally distressed and grieved because of them; yet we should, and do bow in humble submission to His will.      In our saddest moments since our loved one was taken away our hearts have been comforted with the thought that she was worthy of our love, and that she was loved by all who knew her.  We are so glad today that she was a Christian lady, and that we believe that the faith in God which she professed years ago sustained her in her last moments, and that she is now associated with good spirits in the ""Home of the Soul"".  Her disposition was bright and cheerful all through life.  Her universal greeting to friends and acquaintances was a kindly smile and word.  She was a true and loving wife and mother, and will be sadly missed not only by the devoted husband and her four little children, but by all her relatives, neighbors, and friends.  On behalf of the relatives of our deceased sister I desire to embrace in this notice an expression of our appreciation of and our gratitude for the kindly acts, services and attention of so many of sister's neighbors on the occasion of her death and burial.  Each and all of them have our sincere thanks.    A devoted brother, W. W. Riley.   December 1, 1895.
