  <p>Information: William Kessel Davis, 59, of Evans, died Thursday, in Jackson General Hospital following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services were held Sunday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans.  Burial was in Creston Cemetery.  Born in Mason County, he was the son of the late William and Verna Kessel Davis and was a veteran of World War II, a farmer and retired employee of the State Highway Department in Ripley.Survivors include his widow, Deloris Sayre Davis, three daughters, Carol Davis of Charleston, Mrs. Karen Barker of Parkersburg and Mrs. Connie Gandee of Ravenswood; one sister, Opal Winter of New Jersey and one grandson. He was born Jan. 20, 1914.       </p>
