  <p>Information:      George W. Joe Arthur Sr., 80, of Charleston died Friday in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, following an extended illness.  He was formerly of Ravenswood.  He was the father of Windell Clay Arthur of Ravenswood and the stepfather of Johnny Estep also of Ravenswood.  Arthur was retired from the Appalachian Life Insurance Company.  He formerly owned and operated Joe&#39;s Upholstery in Ravenswood.  He was a member of the Humble Hearts Quartet and Praise Cathedral of Ravenswood.    Additional survivors include his wife, Virginia Parsons Arthur; three additional sons, Roy Ray of Rona, George W. Jr. of Charleston, Alfred of Charleston; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Arthur Marion of Charleston; one additional stepson, James Estep of Charleston; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruby Francis Harper of Clendenin, Miss Joyce Marie Arthur of Grove City, OH; two brothers, Chester R. of Spring Hill, Harold of Ivydale; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.  Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston with the Rev. James Dale and the Rev. James Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in the Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes.  Friends may call from 6 p.m. To 9 p.m. Saturday.  Friends may also call anytime Sunday.     </p>
