Information: DAVIS RITES HELD THURS.-AGED WOMAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS AT FROZEN CAMP - Funeral services for Mrs. Malissie Davis, aged 84 years, were held from the Frozen Camp church Thursday with the Rev. Frank Caltrider in charge and burial was in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Davis died on Tuesday after a long illness.  She was one of the well known and highly esteemed citizens of that section of the county and a large crowd attended the funeral service to pay its last respects to the aged woman.  The following obituary was read at the funeral:      Malissie Davis, daughter of Hiram and Phebe Parsons, was born December 16, 1856, died December 24, 1940, aged 84 years and 8 days.  She professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Church of God, and has strived all these years to do the Masters will.  She said she was ready and wanted to go to meet her Master.  She was united in marriage to Clement Davis on January 25, 1877 and to this union five children were born, two, Edward and Evert Davis, preceded her to the Great Beyond.  The three following are left to mourn their loss, Albert Davis, of Sandyville; Mrs. Amy Hartley, of Liverpool, Rt. 3; Mrs. Georgie Cooper, of Akron, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.   (Poem follows)
