Information: Gypsy Mae Deverick Davis, 93, of Ripley WV, died at home following a brief illness.  She was a Christian and a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Davis; mother, Maggie Deverick; son, Frank Davis; grandson, Terry Davis.  Surviving are her son, James Davis of Clendenin; daughters, Willa Sturgill of Ripley; Arletta Blake of Charleston; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Services were held on Sunday, October 13, 2002, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Rev. David Johnston officiating.  Burial in the Deverick Cemetery, Clendenin.
