Information: Mrs. Forest L. Polk Davis, 94, of Ravenswood, died Friday at home after a short illness. She was born in Jackson county, a daughter of the late John and Sara Adaline Williams Polk. She was a lifetime member and the oldest member of Coleman Chapel church at Murraysville. She was a member of the Eastern Star and past matron, a member of the Navy Mothers, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Women's Club and was a Senior Citizen visitor volunteer. She is survived by two sons, W. E. ""Bus"" Davis of Vienna and H. Paul Davis of Clearwater, FL; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ewing of Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. Carol Gibbs; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home in Ravenswood with the Rev. D. Edward Bayer officiating. Burial is to be in the Ravenswood Cemetery with graveside services by the Navy Mothers. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home where the Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m.
