Information: Mrs. Emma Davis, 48, wife of the late E. H. Davis, died Thursday night at 10 o'clock at the Spencer hospital.  She was the sister of Mrs. Reva Kittle, Mrs. Effie Davis, Mr. M. M. Chancey, all of Parkersburg, and W. H. Chancey of Vienna.  Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 9, 1893, the daughter of the late C. M. and Rosie Chancey.  She belonged to the D. of A. at Rockport and was a member of the Methodist church.  One daughter, Mrs. Clifford Burke, one son, Floyd Davis, at home, one sister, Mrs. Cecil Higgins of Ravenswood and one other brother, O. B. Chancey of Cottageville, survive.  One grandson also survives.  Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Lockhart church and interment was in the Ravenswood cemetery.  [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
