Information: George Fields Cutright, 78, of Ripley, departed this life on October 12, 2012 in Calhoun County. George was an avid outdoorsman and was doing what he enjoyed best, spending time at his hunting camp with his best friend, Harvey Mitchell. George was born August 28, 1934 in Fayetteville WV, a son of the late Cheslie and Claudia Cutright. He was a mechanic in the United States Air Force for four years before he moved to Ripley to work at Kaiser Aluminum, which later became Ravenswood Aluminum. He retired after 38 years of service. He also loved children and spent many years as a coach. George was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Treva Tallman Cutright; two sons, Brian (Stacy) and Aaron (Whitney); step-daughter, Tina (Mike) Baldwin; sisters, Geneva Neal and Patsy Holstein; six grandsons, eight granddaughters, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Craig Burchett, and his siblings, Cheslie Cutright, Jr., Jean Lucas, Jack Cutright, Ruth and Wallace Cutright. He will be greatly missed by many! Funeral service will be 1 pm Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial with military rites provided by American Legion Post 107 of Ripley will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Leroy. Viewing was from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
