Information: William C. ""Bill"" Cutlip, 62, of Ravenswood, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born November 3, 1949 at Tacoma WA, a son of Frances Cutlip Goff of Evans and the late William Cutlip. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was an owner-operator truck driver, also having driven for Great American Truck Lines and Hunt Trucking. He was an avid remote control airplane pilot and built airplanes for many people. He was a member of the Jackson County Aero Modelers and was known for his ability to fix anything. He was a fantastic cross sticher. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Howard Goff, Jr., who raised him and was the only father he ever knew, and a brother, Michael Cutlip. In addition to his mother, Frances Goff, he is survived by his wife, Diane Cutlip; his children, William C. Cutlip II, Dennis Cutlip and Michael Cutlip, all of Niagara Falls NY, Jonathan Cutlip and Jennifer Cutlip Thompson, both of Broadway VA, and Courtney Cutlip of Sandyville; step-mother, Mary Key Cutlip; brothers, Howard Goff III of Evans, Kenneth Goff (Jean) of Evans, William ""Cut"" Cutlip (Marta) of Weirton WV, Charles Cutlip of Wheeling; sisters, Margaret A. Bailey of Charleston, Dora L. Parsons (Mike) of Ripley, Barbara Garner (Ken) of Clendenin, Cathy Staudacher of Mingo Junction, Thelma Anthony (Gary) of Toronto OH, and Katie Hinson (Lloyd) of Canton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews. In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call on the family from 5 pm until time of service.
