Information: ACCIDENTS TAKE TOLL IN COUNTY - A Sandyville woman was killed and several others injured as the result of an accident.  Mrs. Mary E. Curry, 78, was killed shortly before 11 a.m. Friday morning in a two-car accident at the intersection of Routes 2 and 56.  Four other persons were injured in the collision.  Mrs. Curry was a passenger in a 1970 AMC owned and operated by her husband, William, 86.  Deputy Grover Anderson reported that the Currys pulled out of Rt. 56 into the path of a 1981 Chevrolet that was southbound on Rt. 2.  Mrs. Curry was a former Jackson County school employee and a member of Independence United Methodist Church, Sandyville.      Surviving:  husband, William; son, Ross Dillon, Jr. of Williamstown; stepson, Paul Curry of Egypt; stepdaughter, Marjorie Zadawich of Ohio; brothers, Harry Stanley of Williamstown, Benton and Carl Stanley of Ravenswood; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Mitchell of Barberton, Ohio, Mrs. Essie Lawson of Durham, N. C., Mrs. Elsie Shenefield of Sandyville; two grandchildren.  Services were Monday at the Independence United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Parsons officiating.  Burial was in Independence Cemetery with Vail Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
