Information: Durward Currey of 3914 Washington St., E., Charleston, died at his home.  He was born at Mineral Wells, son of the late Dr. W.L. and Lucy Lockart Currey.  He was a retired postmaster at the Sandyville Post Office, having worked there for 22 years.  He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Sandyville United Methodist Church, the American Legion at Ripley; the Aston Lodge No. 12, AF and AM of Ravenswood, the Dowell Commandery No. 28, Knights Templar of Ravenswood, the Jackson Chapter No. 48 R.A.M. of Ravenswood; the Scottish Rite Bodies of Charleston, and the Nemesis Temple of Parkersburg.  He is survived by his widow, Opal Currey; one daughter, Miss Lucille Currey at home.  Funeral services were at the Sandyville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wiliam Eaton officiating.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery at Sandyville.
