Information: John Henry Cunningham, 56, of Ripley, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at home following a long illness. He was born August 12, 1945, in Ripley, a son of the late Okey J. and Mildred Kay Cunningham. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, was a retired mechanic from the U. S. Postal Service, was a welder and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ. He leaves his wife, Leola Donohew Cunningham, son, Earl W. Estlock and wife, Denise, of Akron; daughter, Tonya Anderson of Ravenswood; stepson, Timothy Hall and wife Cindy of Ripley; stepdaughter, Donna Shamblin and husband Charles of Cottageville; brothers, Daniel and wife Dorothy, Terry and wife Rita, and Timothy and wife Crystal, all of Ripley, David and wife Linda of Ravenswood, and Jerry and wife Belinda of Tampa FL; sisters, Betty and husband Rossie Parsons and Kay and Kelvin Greathouse of Ripley, Sue and husband Filbert Fields of Gay; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny; and a sister, Mary Keefer. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Ripley Church of Christ with Jeff Ranson and Clifton McLawhorn officiating. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery in Ripley.
