Information: Harley L. Culver, 56, died at the Camden-Clark hospital on December 21 following a lingering illness.  He was born Aug. 6, 1906 in Medina, Jackson county, son of the late Amy Mae Culver and Ferrell D. Culver, who survives.  For many years he was employed by the John Zimb Company of Tulsa, Okla., coming to Parkersburg when ill health caused him to stop working.  Mr. Culver attended the South Parkersburg Pilgrim Holiness Church.  Surviving are his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Culver, Elizabeth, Wirt county; two brothers, Harry Culver and Walter Culver, Parkersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Arah Bower, Mineral Wells and Mrs. Ina Sullivan of Sandyville.  He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Henry; and one sister, Barbara Ellen.  The funeral service was held on December 24 at the Lockhart Methodist church with Rev. Leonard Wolfe and Rev. Gene Eaton officiating, and the burial was in Independence cemetery.
