Information: Emma Lee Crum, daughter of Martin Luther and Lucy Ann Crum, was born in Jackson County, West Virginia, on February 10, 1862, died October 28, 1927 at the home of her only brother, J. O. Crum, with whom she had made her home since the death of her mother nearly eight years ago.  Early in life she professed faith in Christ and became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South.  During the years when she was able she was a faithful attendant at the church services.  Her life was one of solitude, she having lived alone with her mother since the death of her father some 37 years ago.  During her illness she was very patient and expressed a desire that the good Lord would soon take her away.  The funeral services were conducted at Antioch church, Saturday at 2 o'clock by Rev. H. T. Watts.
