Information: Funeral services were held at the Spencer Funeral  Home in Belpre for Marvin Cross, who died at his home in Belpre, following an extended illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Isaac and Martha Halsey Cross, and moved to Belpre in 1918.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.  A son and a daughter preceded him in death.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Chloe Cross; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Cassady, and Mrs. Marguerite Decker, both of Belpre; a son, Dean Cross, of Belpre; one brother Fred C. Cross of Wilmington, Dela.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  The Rev. Emmitt Harrell conducted the services with burial in the Rockland Cemetery.
