  <p>Information: Isabel Hood Crites, 92, Ripley, died Tuesday, May 26, 1992 at Eldercare Nursing Home, Ripley, after a long illness.  She was born in Ripley, daughter of the late J. K. and Ida Greer Hood.  She was a homemaker and volunteer aide at Ripley Elementary School, member of Woman&#39;s Club of Ripley GFWC, and Ripley Post American Legion Auxiliary.  She had been a member of Epworth United Methodist Church for more than 50 years where she was a member of the Loyalty Circle. She was also a member of the Mill Creek Valley Homemakers Club and was Jackson County Belle to the Glenville Folk Festival.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar in 1957.  Survivors:  daughter, Elaine Crites Jarrett, Ripley; three grandchildren, Jane J. Scott of Cocoa, FL, John Crites Jarrett, Melbourne, FL, Kathryn J. Randolph, Ripley; three great-grandsons; two sisters, Virginia Hood Casto, Charleston and Helen Hood Rhodes, Cottageville</p>
