  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Evelyn Crihfield, 73, of Ripley, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at home following an extended illness.  She was born December 29, 1937 in Roane County, daughter of the late Abe and Ellie Hackney.  She was a lifelong homemaker and attended the Prayer and Faith Tabernacle, Ripley.  Surviving:  her husband of 48 years, Robert S. Crihfield; son, James Crihfield of Ripley; daughters, Delores Gibson of Fairplain and Linda Castle of Ripley; brother, Raymond Hackney of Roane County; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, a daughter, Barbara  and brothers, Clair Hackney, Orville Hackney, Clifford Hackney and Billy Mitchell preceded Evelyn in death.  Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with pastors Clyde Syner and Bill Riddle officiating.  Interment will follow in the Crihfield family cemetery, Bibbee Ridge.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.</p>
