  <p>Information: Freda Marie Crawford, 89, of Cottageville, formerly of South Charleston, died Friday at St. Joseph&#39;s Hospital in Parkersburg after a short illness.  She was born in November 1897 and was the daughter of the late Clair D. and Karen Francis Harrison Mahon.  She was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Army Nurse Corp., a registered nurse, and she was a retired nurse from Staats Hospital in Charleston.  She was also a graduate of Staats Hospital Nurses Training in Spencer, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the First United Methodist Church of South Charleston.  She is survived by one brother, Harrison Mahon of New Martinsville and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Dr. Harold Custer officiating.  Burial will be in Blaine Memorial Cemetery in Cottageville.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. today (Saturday).</p>
