Information: Constance Rosalie Craft (Connie) passed away on September 30, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg following a ten month struggle with cancer.  Connie was born on September 22, 1946 in Weston, the daughter of Lt. Col. Lawrence R. and Hattie Rosalie Howell Craft.  Her family moved several times due to transfers and promotions of her State Policeman father.  She called Poca, Nitro, Webster Springs, Berlin, and Weston home, during her youth.  Connie graduated from Weston High School in 1964 and West Virginia Wesleyan in 1968.  She began a 40-year career with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources in 1968. She was a social worker within the field of Children and Family Services.  Her love of people and staying busy resulted in a long, part-time career working in the main office at Cedar Lakes Conference Center.  She enjoyed greeting the various groups, especially the Elderhostel participants..  Connie was very active in Civitans and Jackson County Junior Achievement for many years.  Her love of close friends, music and movies and her demanding jobs created a busy life.  The love of her many nieces and nephews made her life a full one.      Connie is survived by her sister, Jeannie Alfred and brother-in-law, Kent, of Ravenswood; her brother L. R. (Dick) Craft and sister-in-law, Kathy, of Centreville, Virginia.  Survivors also include her nieces April and husband Steve Parker of Leesburg, Virginia, Amanda and husband Miciah Kennedy of Ravenswood, Katie and husband Chris Michael of Ravenswood, Tracee Tewilliager and husband Bradley of Royal Oak, Michigan, Taryn Arbogast of Chicago, Illinois, and Rosalie Craft of Centreville, Virginia,, who just recently returned after several years attending college and working in London, England.  She was greatly loved by her nephews, Travis Arbogast and his wife Jeannie of Dallas, Texas, Tyler Arbogast and his wife Lisa of Fort Worth, Texas, Kenny Alfred of Hurricane, Richard Craft of Falls Church, Virginia and Vincent Craft of Centreville, Virginia.  She was blessed with eight great-nieces and nephews.  Connie was beloved by many wonderful friends and would want them to know she loved them also.  Connie was the official photographer for the many family gatherings and activities.  Her nieces and nephews affectionately called her the ""Human Zoom"".  Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Julia (Judie) Craft Arbogast.  Visitation was held 5 to 8 pm Monday, October 3rd and the service was at 11 am on Tuesday, October 4th, both at Waybright's Funeral Home in Ripley.  Interment services followed at 2:30 pm at the Ravenswood Cemetery.
