  <p>Information: French Cox, 85, of Gay, died Feb. 24, 1988, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Ben and Leora Litton Cox.  He was a member of the Independent Bible Church, Gay, and retired from the OK Trucking Co., Charleston. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.  He is survived by his wife, Pearl Bradley Cox; one daughter, Marie Sansbury of Charleston; one brother, Levi Cox of Ripley; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.  Services were Saturday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Paul Parsons and the Rev. John Jones officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.</p>
