  <p>Information: Tivis S. Counts was born at Kentuck on May 28, 1890 and departed this life June 16, 1945, age 55 years and 19 days.  Mr. Counts was in the merchantile business at Parkersburg (WV) and vicinity for 30 years and for the past two years he was connected with the J. E. Leach grocery business in Parkersburg.  He leaves to mourn their loss three brothers and four sisters:  Dennis and Thomas Counts of Kentuck and Jennings Counts of Delaware, Ohio;  Mrs. Dixie Coe, with whom he had made his home for the past two years, and Mrs. Dovie Coe, both of Parkersburg, Mrs. Bernice Roberts of Marietta, Ohio and Mrs. Blanche Koontz of Cottageville.  Mr. Counts also leaves 51 nieces and nephews.  Seven of the nephews are in the Armed Forces.  He had a host of personal friends and many of the were young people who knew him as ""Uncle Ty"".     (McIntyre)</p>
