  <p>Information:                      Funeral services for Miss Virgie Cottrill, 53, were held from a mortuary in Dunbar on Friday, and the burial was in the Grandview Cemetery.  Miss Cottrill died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Alma Murphy, in Charleston, on Thursday.  She was a member of the Walnut Grove United Brethren Church in Jackson County and had resided in Charleston for 15 years.  The daughter of the late Andrew and Anye Cottrill of Given, she is survived by two other sisters, Mrs. Maxey Mullins of Madison and Mrs. Averal Barker of West Logan; four brothers, George of Red House, E. D. of Dunbar, Dr. A. V. Cottrill of Madison and Alba Cottrill of Charleston.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)</p>
