Information:                 Funeral services for Mildred Maxine Cottrill, 19, wife of Wilbur Cottrill of Cottageville, were held from the Methodist church there Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating and the burial was in Blaine Memorial Cemetery.  Mrs. Cottrill died at her home last Friday morning following a lengthy illness.  Rheumatic fever was reported to have been the cause of her illness and death.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Barnett and was born in Mason County on April 12, 1929.  On March 29, 1946 she married Wilbur Cottrill and was the mother of a son, Curtis Mitchell Cottrill.  Other survivors, in addition to her parents, are four sisters, Mrs. Duane Durst of Cottageville, and Ada, Charldene and Eleanor Barnett, all of Cottageville.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
