Information: Judy Corns, 62, of Ripley, passed away January 31, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.  Judy was born October 22, 1949 at McGraw Run Road, Sandyville, a daughter of Eula Rae Corns of Sandyville and the late Carl Corns.  She spent most of her life in Cody, Wyoming.  She was married to Chuck Brooks of Cody WY for five years and he has since passed away.  She moved back to West Virginia in February 2011 because of ill health.  She loved to work at her church, the Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley, where she attended and made friends with everyone.  She especially loved to work at the church Food Pantry and during the many blood drives. She was most happy when she was working and helping others.      In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Mary Ulland and her husband E.J. of Ripley; brothers, Steve Corns of Cody WY and Ronald Corns and his wife Darla of Billings MT; niece, Kasie Corns and nephews, Randal Corns, Jason Baker and Brandon Baker.  It was her wish to be cremated and her ashes scattered on Carter Mountain in Wyoming.  A memorial service was held Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Ripley.  Rev. Charles Hicks officiated.  In lieu of flowers, send donations to the Calvary United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 205 Court St., Ripley WV 25271.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, served the family.
