Information: Juanita Faye Corns, the three month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Corns, of Sandyville Route 4, was found dead in bed last Friday morning and physicians believe that the cause was a ruptured blood vessel on the brain.  The child was playing as ususal Thursday evening just before she was put to bed and the parents were shocked Friday morning when they went to her bed and found that she had died sometime during the night.  The funeral services were conducted at Independence with Rev. F. G. Simmons in charge and burial was in the cemetery there.  Undertaker Lawrence Ford directed the funeral.  The following obituary was read:  Juanita Faye Corns, daughter of Hugh and Murhl Corns, was born July 28, 1936, departed this life October 30, 1936, aged three months and three days.  She leaves to mourn her departure her parents, one sister, Vernice, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McPherson and Mr. and Mrs. James Corns, great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Archer, 12 aunts, 5 uncles and many other relatives and friends.  [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
