  <p>Information: Ruhama (Simington) Cooper died at her home in Ripley, June 9, age 78 years.  Mrs. Cooper was a native of Greene County, Pa., where she married and reared three children, Thomas Cooper of Roane County and Jane and Ella Cooper of Ripley.  She and her husband moved to Roane County several years ago where Mr. Cooper died.  She, later with her two daughters, moved to Ripley where she resided at the time of her death. Mrs. Cooper became a member of church early in life and has been a member of the M. E. Church of Ripley ever since her residence here.  She was a kind and loving mother, much devoted to her family and home.  Funeral services were held at the home Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. A. C. Riffe.  Interment at the Mt. Zion cemetery in Roane county Sunday afternoon.    (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre collection)</p>
