  <p>Information:           Hayward Carl Adams, 68, Ripley, died Thursday, January 25 at CAMC General Division, Charleston.  He was owner-operator of Adams Accounting in Ripley for over 30 years.  He was a member of the West Virginia Board of Public Accountants, U.S. Border Collie Handlers Association and past treasurer of the West Virginia Quarterhorse Association.  He attended Grace Gospel Church and was a member of AF & AM 59, Harmony, WV.  He was born in Doddridge County, May 2, 1921, son of the later Ira T. Adams and Pearl Cross Adams.  Survivors:  wife Billie Irene Adams, Ripley; son, Hayward Carl Adams, Jr., Ripley, daughter, Brenda Joyce Durbin, Greensboro, N.C.; stepsons, Mark J. Darrough, Mobile Ala., Rich Allan Darrough, Littleton, Colo.; brothers, Alfred Adams, Greenwood, WV, Ira Adams Jr., Elizabeth; sister, Veryl Ruth Tomich, Michigan; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.  Funeral service was Sunday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. William Eaton officiating.  Burial was at Jackson Memory Gardens.</p>
