Information: David Ray Cook, newborn son of Mr. and Mrs. Denvil Cook, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., died Thursday afternoon in the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Survivors include one brother, Timothy Paul Lawson, at home; one sister, Ashley Ann Lawson, at home; grandparents, Barbara Painter of Ripley and Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Cook, Sr. of Spencer; great-grandparents, Mrs. Rama Cook of Left Hand, Mr. and Mrs. George Tawney of Newton, Estel Painter of Given, and Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Jones of Florida.  Graveside services were Tuesday at the Fairview Cemetery, near Fairplain, with the Rev. Kerry Allen officiating.  Sinnett Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
