  <p>Information: Gerta Williams Conley, 78, of Johnstown OH, formerly of Ripley, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at Northview Senior Living Center following a long illness.  She was born December 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lou Ella Thomas Williams.  She was a retired cook with Jackson General Hospital and was with the foster grandparents program of Ripley Elementary School.  She was a member of the Ripley Baptist Temple.  She is survived by her son, Michael Knopp of Johnstown OH; grandchildren, Diana, Lyndsey, Elizabeth and Jacob; and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14 at 2 pm at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery in Roane County.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of the service.</p>
