Information: C. Edwin Conley, 63, of Charleston, the brother of Ray and James Conley of Ripley, died at the Charleston Memorial Hospital, Friday, after a short illness.  He was born in Roane County, son of the late Ord and Ethel Conley.  He was an agent for the State Farm Insurance Co. for over 34 years, was co-owner of Gresham Plumbing & Heating Supply Co. in Charleston, a member of the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston and was a World War II veteran.  He was a member of the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, was on the board of the St. Francis Medical Plaza, the Charleston Lions Club, the board of directors of the Lawrence Frankel Foundation, American Legion, board of directors of the Commercial Banking & Savings in Dunbar, past president of the Charleston chapter of the Certified Life Underwriters (CLU), member of Charleston Life Underwriters Association and the Charleston chapter of Estate Planning Council.      Other survivors:  wife, Helen May Conley; a daughter, Martha Conley Rigg of Morgantown; sisters, Flossie Eakins of Mineral Wells, Thelma Hughes of Homeland, Calif., Mildred Turner of Tulsa, Okla., Sybil Lemon and Naomi Miller of South Charleston, Alice Miller of Charleston, Janet Smith of Elyria, Ohio; brothers, Roy of Akron, Ohio, Ross of Spencer, Jason and Brice of Charleston.  The funeral was held Saturday at the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston, with burial in the Charleston Mount Olivet Cemetery.
