Information: Lee Edward Collins, 40, of Ripley, died Wednesday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was a member of Ripley Baptist Temple.  Surviving:  wife, Virginia.............. and Michael, both at home; daughters, Donna and Terrie, both at home, Mrs. Joyce Cranfield of Ripley; mother, Mrs. Darsula Collins of Chapmanville, brothers, Ernest and Bob, both of Chapmanville, Ted of Madisonville, Ky.; sisters, Mrs. Joseph........Chapmanville, Mrs. Draxie Johanson of Chicago, Mrs. Wanda Collins of Henlawson; one grandchild.  Service was Saturday in Ripley Baptist Temple with the Rev. Charles E. Crummey officiating.  Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.
