Information: Ernest Collins, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Collins, who reside on the ridge between Kenna and Kentuck, died at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon of injuries received Saturday evening.  The boy climbed a tree in the yard and suspended a trace chain from one of the boughs, he then decided to slide down the chain to the ground.  His hand slipped and he fell.  The hook on the chain caught in the lower bowels, making a horrible wound.  His death was due to internal injuries.  The remains were interred in the Paxton cemetery.  (McIntyre)
