Information:                   Harry Reid Coe, 56, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Coe of Cottageville, died at the home of his brother-in-law, Raleigh Rardin, Feb. 22, 1949 at Cincinnati, Ohio.  A heart attack was the cause of his death.  Coe was employed by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway as a clerk in the C. & O. Shop at Logan for 20 years and was transferred to Cincinnati in May 1942.  Funeral services were held at the Cottageville ME Church with Rev. N. H. Bartlett of Logan officiating.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene Rardin Coe; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Stover and Mrs. Genevieve Dingess of Henlawson; three brothers, Floyd of Canton, Ohio, John of Galena, Ohio and Charles of Cottageville; five sisters, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Cannon of Chicago, Mrs. Merle (Pearl) Donald of Steubenville, Ohio, Mrs. William (Alma) Kolb of Akron, Mrs. Gold Myers and Mrs. Marie Moody, both of Ripley.  A sister, Minnie, and a brother, Creed, preceded him in death.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
