Information:     Ada R. Archer, 93, Sandyville, died at her home Thursday, June 21, 1990.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late William D. and Almeeda Cox Rardin.  She was a member of the Drift Run Methodist Church, was the past matron of the R. Douglas Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the Navy Mothers Club and Rebecca Lodge.  She held the grand cross of color Ladies Oriental Shrine, The American Legion Auxiliary and the ladies auxiliary of the VFW.  She was a school teacher before her marriage.  She and her husband were the owners and operators of Archer's Esso Station.  She is survived by two sons, Calvin M. Archer, Wilmington, N.D., and Martin C. Archer, Springfield, Va.; one sister, Bessie R. Truman, Sandyville, six grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Archer; a son, Lewis R. Archer, a daughter, Ethel Archer Kittle; three brothers and one sister.  Services were Sunday at the Vail Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. James Pinkerton officiating.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
