  <p>Information: William (Audith) Cobb, 76, of Ripley, died Saturday, April 9, 1988, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after an extended illness.  He was born in Winfred, Kanawha County, W. Va., a son of the late William A. and Ica Tuttle Cobb.  He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 39 years.  He was a schoolteacher for four years, and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.  Survivors:  wife, Velma Hart Cobb; one daughter, Mary Margo Hatcher of Ripley; one brother, Gene Cobb of Pueblo, Colo.; one sister, Iva Carper of Ripley; one granddaughter, Jodi Michele Kibodeaux; and one great grandson, Nathan Kibodeaux.  He was preceded in death by one infant son, Ardeth Lee Cobb.  Services were Monday at the Epworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Harold Custer and the Rev. Wayne Hinzman officiating.  Burial was in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church.</p>
