Information: Emily Jane Cobb was born January 9, 1866 and departed this life April 22, 1936, aged 70 years, 3 months and 13 days.  She was united in marriage to J. H. Cobb May 4, 1884 and to this union was born eleven children, 3 of whom preceded her in death, Ruby Sherman and Bessie and Thomas followed her a few hours later.  The living are Mrs. H. H. Hambric, Miss Nora Cobb, Mrs. Floyd Hersman, Early Cobb, Mrs. Dollie Hersman, Mrs. Hoyt Carpenter and James Cobb.  She was converted in early life and joined the M. P. church and lived a devoted christian life until death.      Mrs. Cobb was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.  She leaves her husband, seven children, grandchildren, and a host of friends to mourn their loss.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Anderson at White Pine church Friday evening for Mrs. Cobb and her son, Thomas Cobb.  They were laid to rest in the cemetery there to await the Resurrection morn.
