  <p>Information: Early Columbus Cobb, 81, of Rt. 3, Ripley, died Monday at home after a long illness.  The son of the late James and............., he was a retired farmer, a member of Fairplain Union Church and IOOF Lodge, Belgrove.  He is survived by his wife Martha; sons, Robert, Pocatalico, Rossie, Hillard, Ohio, Jerry, Columbus, Ohio, and Bernard, Cottageville; daughters, Mrs. Dessie Smith, Ripley, Mrs. Dorthy Pennington, Charleston, Mrs. Delphia Leinhos, Perkiomenville, Penn., Mrs. Opal Pennington, Fairplain, and Mrs. Betty Eddinger, Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Dolly Hersman, Harmony; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Fairplain Union Church with the Rev. Noble Harper and Rev. Carl Chambers officiating.  Interment will be in Fairplain Cemetery.  Friends may call at Parsons Funeral Home.</p>
