Information: Monroe Jackson Click, 78, of Ravenswood, died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, after a long illness. He was a former owner and operator of Click's Department Store for 44 years, was a World War I veteran, a member of the American Legion and a 50-year service officer. Click was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the 40/8 Voiture #170, the VFW, the Elkins Highlanders. A former mayor of Ravenswood, Click was also a former member of the Jackson County Board of Education, the Grace Episcopal Church and the Masons. Surviving: wife, Mae Derenburger Click; mother, Mrs. Ethel Sayre Click of Ravenswood, sister, Mrs. Glen Chambers of Ravenswood. Service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. George Weirick and the Rev. Samuel W. Tinsley III officiating. Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery with military graveside rites. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
